People Who Made A Difference:Heroes of the Civil War Era |

5th graders at Oak Grove Elementary School have been studying the Civil War and with it, various people who made a difference. Students made a list of people they thought had admirable qualities and could be considered heroes. |

Each student chose a Civil War hero to do a project about. They created a visual and included facts about that person's life and contribution to the Civil War. |
 |
These projects showed why these people were heroes. The students had a lot of fun and learned about an important time period in our nation's history. |
